Area lodging
The area around Buffalo is ripe with camping options while the town has motels, historic hotels, cabins and a couple of commercial campgrounds right there in town. Below are a list of lodging options, but there may be others. This is a tourist town, book early!
Camping and Cabins:

Forest service campgrounds (and a few cabins) are all over the Bighorn mountains and can be searched through USFS Website

Indian Campground is located along I-25 in town and can be found here

Buffalo KOA is also located in town, just east of I-25 and their website is here

Mountain View Motel and Campground has cabins, sites and a small motel. Their website is here

Z Bar cabins and motel is also in town and found here

Blue Gables Motel & Coffee shop has 18 little cabins and is in town. Their website is here

Historic Capital Hotel, located in the historic district of downtown and can be reserved here

Historic Occidental Hotel, a Wyoming landmark can be reserved here

Mansion House Motel, a small family run motel near downtown can be found here

Big Horn Motel, another small motor lodge. This one from the 1930's can be found here.

There's also a half dozen of the normal chain motels on either side of the interstate and can be found through your normal searches.
